The
step-by-step Chess Method
The step-by-step method has been developed by Rob Brunia
and Cor van Wijgerden to teach children to play chess. A large number of
schools and chess clubs in the Netherlands and Belgium use this method
for their chess lessons.
This method consists of six steps. Each step is accompanied with an
instruction book with the teaching material to be used by the trainer/teacher
and a workbook with exercises for the students.
On this website you can read more about the teaching material under the
steps.
Trainers can download the answers of the latest edition of a given workbook.
The books can be ordered online.
Under info various items are dealt with: new workbooks, certificates,
backround and frequently asked questions.
